Welcome to My Journey

This blog documents the awakening of my sixth sense and the incredible adventures to follow. The blog also reaches out to others who are interested in or who may be experiencing a similar other-worldliness and who, like me, are trying to figure it all out. There are no set answers in here, but plenty of questions and stories that will make you wonder. Come muse with me!

You've Gotta Play to Win - Follow-up

Folks, that Lucky 7 raffle ticket was a sign for all kinds of good coming our way.

On May 5th, the scheduled date of the raffle, 3 significant things happened. First, we agreed to re-finance our mortgage saving $300.00 a month. Second, I submitted my first application for full-time work in over ten years. Consequently, I am being promoted to full-time status in my current job with a raise! And third, the pageviews for this blog hit 300. Many thanks to those who keep reading!

To top it off, remember the ticket no. 0702067? The more I stared at it, the more it looked like a date to me, especially the first part 0702. I thought for sure, something good is going to happen on or around July 2nd. Then today, it became clear. Two things that got started on May 5th will come to fruition on July 2nd. That day marks the first pay period of my new position and the day after our first new mortgage payment. Could there be a third wrap-up? That remains to be seen....

Lately, my cousin has been telling me about things that call out to her or things she feels drawn to in a special way. I didn't know what she meant, until I bought this ticket. A few days before, I heard an advertisement on the radio. Then, at the grocery store checkout, I remembered the lottery. I even bought some candy just so I would have the cash needed to buy the ticket. After I made the purchase, the woman at the register handed the ticket to me with a big beaming smile and wished me luck. I felt drawn to buy that ticket as if guided to it. I have purchased lottery tickets in the past, but never with such purpose. And when I left the store, I felt as if I'd already won. I usually give the tickets to my husband, but this time I kept it for myself and propped it up so I could see it every day. I liked looking at it, wishing upon it - weird.

My husband connected the raffle date of May 5th to Mexico's Independence Day, Cinqo de Mayo. Could this day have marked the beginning of our own freedom, that of financial independence? And with my birth year included in the ticket number, a re-birth of sorts?

Wonder what else could be on this ticket? So many clever ways to receive clues from above. Whatever you want to call this, to me it was a true Lucky 7 win!!
