Welcome to My Journey

This blog documents the awakening of my sixth sense and the incredible adventures to follow. The blog also reaches out to others who are interested in or who may be experiencing a similar other-worldliness and who, like me, are trying to figure it all out. There are no set answers in here, but plenty of questions and stories that will make you wonder. Come muse with me!

Re-birth of Adee

So, I'm on this numerology kick.  It's the coolest thing.  For anyone who knows me and wants to know  why I'm attributing posts to "Adee Riccio," here is the reason.  I analyzed my birth chart and name chart and found a huge imbalance between the two!  The book's author suggests that when such an imbalance occurs, a modification to one's name can remove blockages and create greater harmony.

The author, David A. Phillips, PhD, also mentions there are people who dislike their name and want to change it, as if they know something is wrong.  I am one of those people.  As a child, I tried to alter the spelling of my name, threatened my poor parents with a name change - just really felt it didn't fit me.  I thought my middle name, Adelaine, which is based on the street (Adel Lane) where my parents met, had more potential.

Years ago, when I was still a young single working professional, a former boyfriend chose to call me by the nickname, Addy or Addie (not sure on the spelling), based on my middle name.  Looking back, those were some of the most prosperous and productive years of my life.  I got my dream job as an educator, traveled extensively for work and pleasure, wrote professionally, attended graduate school, and purchased my first home.  All in the span of three years.

After analyzing my middle name, I discovered that it not only creates a better balance with my birth chart but its numbers better describe my personality.  I slightly modified the spelling and decided to adopt the revised nickname "Adee" as a pen name.

Now, in order for "Adee" to work, the name must be used.  So, while you're reading, think "Adee, Adee, Adee..." and power it up!
