Welcome to My Journey

This blog documents the awakening of my sixth sense and the incredible adventures to follow. The blog also reaches out to others who are interested in or who may be experiencing a similar other-worldliness and who, like me, are trying to figure it all out. There are no set answers in here, but plenty of questions and stories that will make you wonder. Come muse with me!

Turning Down the Volume - "Ade" Version 2

Well, this is what happens when one does not consult their guides before making a big change.  David A. Philipps, PhD cautions that hastiness in numerology can lead to errors in judgment, but then goes on to say, “Such slips should not be regarded as mistakes or failures (either of the person or the system), but rather as lessons intended to develop our understanding.”

It was as if I had let an animal out of its cage.  I saw an image of a young girl baring her teeth, growling (!), and throughout the day, I could feel this surge of energy and determination.  Adee is ferocious!  The second “e” in the name increases intensity of drive and feeling.  And then, I remembered all those great things “Addie” did years ago, accomplished with dogged determination.  She was a little scary.  Adee might get what she wants, but to what end?!

This morning, I received counsel from my ancestral guide, Lola Rea.  She said that Adee was too much  - she would succeed, but my family might suffer.  She suggested removing the second “e”, using the first three letters of my original middle name, and creating a more Filipino nickname “Ade”, which I like.  Tacking on the second “e” was an attempt to help others sound out the name, but better mispronunciation than an uncontrolled beast!

I already feel calmer, gentler, and a little more “soulful”.

Thank you Lola Rea, Ade it is!
